"AI PM" isn't one job. A posting with that title at a frontier lab, a dev-tools company, an infrastructure provider, and a chip company screens for different scope, judgment, and proof of experience. Most candidates apply to all of them the same way, then read the silence as "not good enough" when the real issue is they never had a way to tell, before applying, whether it was built for them.
